Experience
Frank S. Benjamin's experience ranges across all aspects of intellectual property and technology law, including trademark selection, clearance and prosecution, general IP counseling, and negotiating and drafting a wide range of agreements relating to the protection, development, licensing, distribution and transfer of intellectual property and technology. Mr. Benjamin also handles intellectual property and technology disputes, including domain name matters, Internet scams, online defamation, trade dress disputes, and administrative proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeals Board of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Mr. Benjamin works with clients across many industries and stages of development, from early stage start-ups to large publicly-held companies, including more traditional "low-tech" companies that have significant intellectual property or technology needs including issues involving privacy, the Internet and electronic commerce. He also provides support in these areas for mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances and related transactions.
Prior to joining MLA, Mr. Benjamin was General Counsel with a technology and media company, MTI/The Image Group, in New York.
Most recently, Mr. Benjamin was recognized among Georgia's Legal Elite by Georgia Trend Magazine.
