Experience
Arash Heidarian represents contractors in all aspects of government contracting and construction law including negotiation, award, performance and termination. He also has experience performing internal investigations of government contractor compliances with regulatory requirements and working to resolve procurement fraud issues.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Heidarian practiced at a boutique law firm in Washington, D.C., providing substantial assistance to the government contracts, litigation and constructions teams. He also worked as a law clerk for the Alexandria City Public Defender’s office, the Supreme Court of Rhode Island, under the Honorable Francis X. Flaherty, and the United States Agency for International Development’s International Procurement and Ethics and Administration groups.
Mr. Heidarian received his LL.M. in Government Procurement Law from the George Washington University Law School, and his J.D., cum laude, from the Roger Williams University School of Law. While in law school, he was president of the International Law Student Society and a member of the Jessup Moot Court Team. He received his B.B.A., cum laude, in marketing information systems from James Madison University.
Mr. Heidarian has published articles, co-authored text book supplements and written course manuals in the fields of procurement fraud and ethics and construction.
