Since the inception of the firm, litigation has been a core area of practice for McKenna Long & Aldridge. Today, it is our largest practice with more than 160 lawyers. We handle cases throughout the U.S. and our lawyers are members of the Bar in more than 20 states and the District of Columbia. Our ranks include seasoned trial lawyers with substantial experience in complex jury trial cases.
In addition to traditional litigation in state and federal trial and appellate courts, we are experienced in a broad spectrum of mediation, arbitration, summary and mini-trials and other alternative dispute resolution techniques.
Our approach to dispute resolution is pragmatic and business-oriented. We base our strategy on a cost/benefit analysis, including the costs of executive time and consideration of the client's business goals and strategies. Our objectives are optimum results with minimum disruption of business activities. We work closely with our clients to develop written case strategies, budgets and schedules and use the latest litigation support technologies.
