PROFILE

Susan Pearce is a member of the environmental practice group in the San Francisco office.  She specializes in environmental law, and has a broad range of experience in international, federal, state and local environmental laws and regulations.

Prior to joining the firm, Susan was counsel to the Hewlett-Packard Company, where she provided advice and counsel on a wide variety of environmental issues.  While with Hewlett-Packard, Susan advised the company on issues related to TSCA, CERCLA, RCRA, Clean Air Act, OSHA, Clean Water Act, FFDCA and hazardous materials transportation.  Susan also managed long term and large scale environmental and regulatory projects and programs, including internal and external audits, training programs, remediation projects and site and company environmental compliance programs.  In addition, she counseled the company on the environmental components of company projects, including Hewlett-Packard’s Supply Chain and Environmental Responsibility Program, real estate transactions, securities filings and mergers and acquisitions. 

Susan graduated from the University of California, Hastings College of Law, where she was Editor in Chief of the Hastings West-Northwest Journal of Environmental Law and Policy.  She received her B.A., with high honors, from the University of California, San Diego.
