PROFILE

Michael Angert is an associate in McKenna Long & Aldridge's Washington DC office. He is a member of the Intellectual Property and Technology department.

Michael's legal experience includes drafting and prosecuting U.S. origin and PCT patent applications in electrical, computer, and mechanical arts, managing prosecution of extensive U.S., PCT and international patent portfolios and drafting and prosecuting design patents.

In his prior career as an engineer, Michael designed digital, analog, radio frequency (RF), and microwave circuits and systems for various military and commercial wireless voice and data communications devices. He also designed and developed components of radar proximity fuse for naval surface-to-air missile. In addition, Michael designed and tested monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) including mask work.

Michael received his J.D. summa cum laude, from the University of Baltimore School of Law. He also has a Masters and Bachelors degree in electrical engineering.
