PROFILE

Bryan Bates focuses his practice on business bankruptcy and commercial litigation.  He represents creditors, debtors, and trustees in Chapter 11 reorganization proceedings and debtor/creditor litigation.  Bryan also represents mortgage lenders, banks and other corporate clients in business disputes, fraud investigations, commercial litigation, and collection and foreclosure matters.

Most recently, Bryan served as counsel to the court-appointed bankruptcy Trustee in In re Southwest Recreational Industries, Inc., et al.; Case Nos. 04-40656-58; United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Georgia, Rome Division.  In addition, Bryan recently served as counsel to the Reorganized Debtors in In re Centennial Healthcare Corporation, et al.; Case No. 02-74974, United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Georgia, Atlanta Division. 

During law school, Bryan was a board member of both the Mercer Law Review and Moot Court Team, served as the Book Editor for the Annual Survey of Georgia Law and competed in the National Moot Court Competition.  Bryan was inducted as a member into both the Brainerd Currie Honor Society and the Order of Barristers.
