PROFILE

Anthony Morris has a varied practice that spans business litigation, professional ethics and entertainment.

In business litigation, Anthony represents Fortune 100 clients in complex litigation matters in state and federal courts throughout the country. He also advises clients on issues of ethics, professional liability and grievance prevention.

In the ethics arena, Anthony served as co-counsel to the former Speakers of the United States House of Representatives, Dennis Hastert and Newt Gingrich. He also represents many current and former Members of Congress, as well as certain Georgia elected officials.

In entertainment, Anthony negotiates literary, television and speaking contracts for clients. He has handled several national best sellers, including "A National Party No More" by Zell Miller; "Lessons Learned The Hard Way" by Newt Gingrich; and "Lost Innocence - The JonBenet Ramsey Story" by John & Patsy Ramsey. He regularly negotiates cable and network news contracts. Anthony also represents a range of clients from series creators to reality show contestants.

 

COMMUNITY AND CIVIC INVOLVEMENT
  • Anthony is an appointee to the Fulton County Arts Council, a 15 member panel which oversees the largest public arts funding in Georgia and develops publicly assisted cultural programs.
  • Anthony is the co-founder and co-owner of both the Peachtree Playhouse and the Ansley Park Playhouse, two for-profit professional stage theaters. He is a noted playwright, and is the co-author of the longest running play in Atlanta history, "Peachtree Battle."
