Mr. Park represents foreign and domestic clients in a multi-disciplinary practice that ranges from international transactions and domestic corporate law to intellectual property prosecution and counseling. His work on behalf of electronics companies, automobile manufacturers, cosmetics companies, chemicals companies, and companies in other industries concern global intellectual property protection, licensing, and enforcement, and corporate counseling, including in such areas as Hart-Scott-Rodino filings, anti-trust, anti-dumping/countervailing duties, and other subject matters affecting foreign and domestic companies.
From 1997-2001, Mr. Park served as Chair of the Intellectual Property Rights Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce. During this period, he advised officials from the U.S. Department of State, the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, the U.S. Embassy in Korea and other public officials and multi-national corporations. He has also represented clients in negotiating and forming international joint venture companies, acquiring major business concerns, and negotiating multi-dimensional business agreements between trans-national companies. Mr. Park's understanding of the nuances between the business culture and ethos of the East and West make him well-qualified to conclude many of today's complex international commercial transactions.
