PROFILE

Adrian Mollo is a partner in the firm's Intellectual Property Department.  His practice focuses on patent licensing and related transactions, intellectual property litigation, and corporate counseling.

Adrian's litigation experience includes patent infringement, copyright infringement, derivative actions, business torts, and breach of contract actions.  Adrian also has experience arbitrating claims under the American Arbitration Association's commercial and international rules.  Adrian's transactional experience includes counseling clients in the development, licensing, and protection of intellectual property, as well as negotiating and drafting general corporate documents, ranging from intellectual property purchase agreements to international joint venture agreements.

He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law where he was a member of the Order of the Coif, the Order of the Barristers, and the John Belton O'Neall Inn of Court.  Adrian also served as an Editor of the ABA Real Property, Probate and Trust Journal and won a First Place award in the 1999 Nathan Burkan Memorial Writing Competition in Copyright Law for his thesis entitled "Building Fences: Alternatives in Database Protection."  In law school, Adrian was also active in several moot court competitions, including serving as captain of a team to the John Marshall Law School Moot Court Competition in Information Technology and Privacy Law.
