PROFILE

Deborah Cote is an associate in McKenna Long & Aldridge's San Francisco office, handling toxic tort litigation. She represents a wide variety of companies in asbestos products and premises liability cases in California. Deborah handles all aspects of pre-trial litigation, trial preparation, and provides trial support as needed. Deborah also coordinates pre-trial defense management with national counsel, and is involved with client case management.

Deborah was a law clerk at the California Supreme Court, Criminal Central Staff, 1991-1992. Prior to joining McKenna Long & Aldridge, Deborah also handled insurance coverage, employment law, and general third-party insurance defense at the Law Offices of Fisher and Hurst, 1992-1994. She worked at the San Francisco District Attorney's Office, Civil and Criminal Divisions, 1994-2000. Deborah was a member of the Hastings National Moot Court Team and an award recipient in the Hastings International Law Moot Court Competition while in law school. She attended Cambridge Summer Law program, receiving outstanding marks in Law of the EEC and International Law in 1988.
