Fred Clark is an experienced commercial litigator, with particular expertise in antitrust and trade regulation, unfair competition and business tort matters. He has represented clients in the following industries: aircraft, analytic instrumentation, automobile, car audio equipment, cement products, electronic games, fertilizer, giftware, glass, high strength fibers, kitchen appliances, luggage, munitions, meat distribution, and packaging.

Fred has defended antitrust and intellectual property cases as well as claims by terminated distributors and dealers. He routinely counsels clients regarding product distribution, pricing, merger and joint venture issues and represents clients in connection with pre-merger notification filings under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act. He has represented clients in connection with antitrust investigations conducted by the Antitrust Division of the Department of Justice, the Federal Trade Commission, the California Attorney General's office, and the offices of the Los Angeles District Attorney and San Diego City Attorney.

Fred is a member of the Antitrust and Litigation sections of the American Bar Association, the Antitrust and Unfair Competition Law section of the State Bar of California, the Antitrust and Trade Regulation section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the Association of Business Trial Lawyers.
