PROFILE

Patrick M. Malone is an associate in the San Francisco office of McKenna, Long & Aldridge.  Patrick’s practice focuses on the defense of multiparty complex products liability actions.  Patrick manages and conducts litigation in numerous toxic tort cases, alleging injuries of cancer, respiratory problems and other diseases from exposure to asbestos and other substances.  He represents and counsels a wide variety of clients, including contractors, premises owners and manufacturers of automotive, construction and industrial products.

Patrick also has litigated cases involving intellectual property issues, contracts, civil rights violations, professional liability and unfair competition. 

 Patrick has negotiated, drafted and prepared corporate financing and capitalization agreements, software licensing agreements, software development agreements, and  joint venture agreements. He has assisted clients in protecting intellectual property assets.

Patrick obtained a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from UCLA, and is a graduate of Loyola Law School in Los Angeles.
