PROFILE

Brian Cruz is an associate in the Los Angeles office of McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP.  He is a member of the Government Contracts Practice Group where his practice focuses on all aspects of government contract law, including the Truth in Negotiations Act, the False Claims Act, internal investigations and federal and state bid protests.  Brian has also provided counsel to contractors and individuals with regards to obtaining and maintaining security clearances.

Prior to joining McKenna Long & Aldridge, Brian served eight years as a Communications Officer with the United States Marine Corps, including a tour to the Persian Gulf with the 13^th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable.)  Brian also has business experience, which includes several years as a Department Manager with Cintas Corporation.  While in law school, Brian interned with the legal department of BP America, Inc.

He received his J.D., cum laude, from Southwestern Law School where he was Notes and Comments Editor of the Southwestern Law Review and a member of the Jessup and Ruby Vale Moot Court teams.  Brian earned his B.A. in International Relations from the University of Southern California.
