PROFILE

Joe Martinez is an associate in the Government Contracts practice of McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP.  His practice focuses on all aspects of government contracts litigation and corporate counseling.

Joe received his Masters in Public Administration from the University of Colorado School of Public Affairs and his J.D. from the University of Colorado School of Law.  While in law school, he served as a law clerk for Governor Bill Owens (R-CO), was a member of the Jessup International Law Moot Court and the Hispanic National Bar Association Moot Court Teams, and was active in the Student Bar Association.  In recognition of his scholarship and leadership, he was awarded the ALI-ABA Scholarship and Leadership Award.

He received his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Michigan.  While attending Michigan he served as a Legislative Intern for U.S. Senator Wayne Allard (R-CO) and interned in the Government Affairs department of DaimlerChrysler.
