PROFILE

Amy Deng is a government contracts associate in the Los Angeles office.  Her practice focuses on all aspects of government contract law, including request for equitable adjustment claims and state and local government bid protests.

Prior to joining the firm, Amy practiced government contract law at a Washington, DC based law firm.  While there, she was involved in government contracts (state and Federal), the representation of minority- and women-owned entities, contract negotiation and litigation, construction law, employment law, complex litigation, and the representation of disciplined attorneys.

Amy graduated from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law and was the Senior Notes Editor of the Hastings Law Journal.  During law school, Amy served as a law clerk for the Civil Division of the United States Attorney’s Office, and the Civil Division of the California Attorney General’s Office. She also served as a judicial extern to Judge Maxine M. Chesney of the United States District Court in San Francisco, and Justice Earl Johnson Jr. of the California Court of Appeal in Los Angeles.  She received her B.S., summa cum laude, from the University of Southern California.
