Michael Alexander is an associate with the Intellectual Property department in the Washington, DC office. Michael focuses on patent prosecution and patent litigation.
Prior to joining the firm, Michael was a patent examiner with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, where he examined patent applications in the electrochemical and metallurgical arts, particularly including manufacturing of polymer electrolyic membranes, materials for metal hydride fuel cells, semiconductors, hydrodynamic bearings, sputtering targets, thermal fuses and medical devices. Prior to joining the Patent Office, Michael researched electrolyic production of nanocrystalline copper and sintering of composite materials.
Michael received his law degree from the University of Florida College of Law, and earned a bachelor of science in material science and engineering from the University of Florida.
