Dr. Diane L. Berry adds US Department of Defense Experience

Montreal, April 7, 2005 - (TSX.V: BUG) Biophage Pharma is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Diane L. Berry to its Scientific Advisory Board. Dr. Berry is currently a Senior Advisor at the international law firm McKenna, Long & Aldridge.

Dr. Berry is a skilled biochemical engineer. Her previous experience includes working at the US Department of Defense Chemical and Biological Defense Program with a focus on chemical/biological detection, protection, decontamination and medical countermeasures. Dr. Berry is currently a member of the Government Contracts Practice of McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP.
