WASHINGTON, DC - (February 2, 2005) - Robert Gillcash has joined McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP as a Senior Policy Advisor in the firm's national Government Affairs practice. The firm also recently announced the addition of Senator Zell Miller and Mr. Powell A. Moore as practice members. McKenna Long & Aldridge's national Government Affairs practice provides strategic solutions to matters involving the intersection of government and private enterprise in such areas as tax, international trade, homeland security and defense, government contracts, health policy, agriculture, higher education, energy and environmental regulation.
Mr. Gillcash has more than 16 years of government affairs experience in both public and private sector external affairs and government relations. He will provide public policy advice and counsel to McKenna Long & Aldridge's clients at a federal level and will work out of the firm's Washington, DC office.

Prior to joining McKenna Long & Aldridge, Mr. Gillcash served as Senior Vice President, Government & International Affairs for B&K Group International, LLC, an international business and investment firm. Additionally, he led the federal government affairs office for the defense and intelligence business units at American Management Systems. Mr. Gillcash also worked as a Senior Vice President for the defense practice group at the Washington public affairs firm Powell Tate and served for several years as a senior legislative aide to the Honorable Senator Christopher J. Dodd (D-CT).
