McKenna Long & Aldridge Re-elects Jeffrey K. Haidet As Chair Of The Firm

March 17, 2008 - (Atlanta, GA) - McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP (MLA)  is pleased to announce that Jeffrey K. Haidet has been re-elected as Chair of the Firm, effective February 1st, 2008, for a third term.

 “We are very pleased to have Jeff back for another year at the helm of McKenna Long & Aldridge,” said Dan Anderson, MLA Executive Director. “He has proven himself to be a strong leader with excellent strategic and managerial skills. We anticipate that he will continue to guide our firm’s growth with the same expertise he has shown  since first elected as Chairman of the Board in February, 2005.”

As Chairman, Haidet is responsible for managing and developing client services. In this role, he oversees the development of firm marketing and recruiting strategies, along with the implementation of professional development programs.

Haidet, a partner in the Corporate practice group, focuses on providing advice regarding domestic and international commercial transactions for a variety of corporate clients. He advises his clients on transaction and financial structuring, mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic alliances and industry consolidations. He also acts as chief outside legal counsel for several of the firm's clients. In this role, Haidet has advised clients about corporate compliance issues and has managed numerous internal investigations and special committee representations.

The Firm’s Board voted on Haidet’s re-election on February 7th, 2008 .
